An old cob church built in the 1850's and now demolished. Was in Spring Grove, Nelson, New Zealand and I remember as a young and naughty boy I , with some friends had a look inside and was fascinated. It had nor been used for many years but still had all the pews and stained glass windows and bibles and hymn books in place.
Cob, which was a mixture of clay, sand and straw was quite common as a building material in the area.
I lived up the road from here.
